I hope that I am not going out on a limb...but I predict that Bernadette will spend a year or more enjoying a fantastic run as Rose on Broadway. She will then take the show to London where she will play to sell out crowds...culminating with the win that she most definitely deserves...the Olivier (London's "Tony") for her outstanding portrayal. I don't know if the move to London will be a go...but I do know that she WILL win the Olivier if she does!!!

P.S. I will be seeing Gypsy on July 3rd and I can't wait!

I think she will do this role on Broadway well into next summer/fall (like she did with Annie Get Your Gun), but I really don't think she will bring the role over to London; at least not for an extended ammount of time. Her life, family, and friends are in America (particularly in NYC), and for the time being I think she prefers to be here. But who knows, things can change.
