Bernadette is on the cover and featured in something called the Hampton Sheet www.hamptonsheet.com. Article seems cobbled together from her bio and the NYT's piece by Green. Wonder if Peters would be surprised to see her mother described as a divorcee.
There was also this today in Newsday "Joel Schumacher and friends cheering on a coughing, raspy-voiced Bernadette Peters, who soldiered on through a press night performance of "Gypsy"
And from Musto's column in the Village Voice "Relevant sidebar: A Gypsy performance last week had poor Bernadette Peters woozy and coughing and Tammy Blanchard out sick, afraid to go near the star and further infect her. http://www.villagevoice.com/issues/0323/musto.php

A friend of mine emailed that to me a day or two ago but I wasn't going to bother posting it considering how many factual errors it has in it. Its almost ridiculous! I mean, if you're gong to write something like this than atleast get your facts straight! And atleast know how to spell people's names correctly ( Joel Grey)

When they put it on her websiste, I thought someone might go through and put some [sic] in there or something. I noticed that they fixed the age in the NYT's Carnegie Hall review in the copies included in her press kit.
There are some different Gypsy opening night photos in that publication though.

I actually e-mailed the woman who operates the publication after I read it several days ago. I listed several factual errors for her and pointed out the biggest and probably most upsetting to Bernadette might be the incorrect break-up of her parents' marriage. Maybe they will print a retraction.

Hopefully Bernadette's press rep has also been in touch with the "Hampton Rag"...oops, "Sheet".
