I dont know if any of you have seen or heard but on my little sisters Barney movie bernadette peters sings but does not show her have any of you seen it in her movies list? believe me i know its her.

Yes, it is her. She has long been credited with singing the opening theme song. I believe it was written by Jerry Herman, composer of Mack and Mabel.
