This morning when I got into work there was an interoffice envelope on my desk. Inside was a video tape that I had lent to a co-worker several years ago with the A&E Bob Fosse biography AND Bernadette and Tom Wopat singing "Old Fashioned Wedding" on the Rosie O'Donnell show. Dya think my boss will understand if I spend my morning in the conference room watching this instead of working??? :-)

I never did get to see them on the Rosie O'Donnell show
I love the Bob Fosse special! I have that on my tape with last year's Tony's (or maybe it was the year before...don't remember).

She was really funny pulling Tom Wopat one way and then the other. It was one of the highlights of the show. I can't wait to get home tonight and watch it again. Ah memories... :-)

I have the Tonys from, I think, last year. Is that when "The Producers" won EVERYTHING??? I taped the PBS special and the regular awards and enjoyed every moment of it.

Yeah, I really love Bob Fosse and they did a really great job with Biography. The E True Hollywood story wasn't as good... too much trashy innuendo and not enough Broadway stuff and way too many commercials.

Nah, the Producers sweep was the year before; last year was when Bernadette and Gregory Hynes (sp?) hosted the entire show.

Oh yeah, it's all coming back to me now.

Well, I watched Bernadette and Tom and they were wonderful just like I remembered. There was such great chemistry and humor between them. Very enjoyable. The bio on Fosse was great too. Hmmmm, dya think I should see "Fosse" again when I go to London next month or is five times too much???

Yes. First time was pre-Broadway tryout in Boston (first row, center, awesome), second in NYC, third in London, and fourth again in NYC with Ann Reinking and Ben Vereen (I mean, I just HAD to see them).

I totally loved it all four times because each experience was slightly different. One can never get too much Fosse. :-)
