| posted: 4/25/2003 at 11:35:16 AM ET I thought Rory Culkin was being very rude on the Caroline Rhea Show. I know he had a cold during the show & didn't feel well, but have some eticate! He was completely unresponsive, and every time Caroline asked him a question he would snear his face and say, "I don't know. I guess." Cameron on the other hand was a pleasure to watch be interviewd.
Although....why is it they can have Rory go on talk shows, & not Bernadette!? That's ridiculous. At least they showed a clip with her in it.
The View didn't even do that!

| posted: 4/25/2003 at 1:03:13 PM ET I don't even care that she's not doing press for the movie; The Douglas family is doing a great job with promotions. I am well aware of how busy she is right now. It's just that I think it would be beneficial for her to be doing one or two NY-based talk shows considering that she is now starring in Gypsy and co-starring in It runs in the Family.
It's too bad that the movie is being released at such a hectic time in her schedule. I know I would definitely be more concerned about Gypsy if I were her (which I know she is).
I'm sure she will be on a few talk-shows after press dies down a little about the Opening of Gypsy...once she has to start promoting the cast recording, and Broadway Barks.
Once they do start promoting Gypsy on TV, I hope to see Tammy Blanchard do a couple of interviews. That would be interesting.

Just to briefly quote: "Every scene in this oppressive film has a theme or didactic purpose, but little life. And everyone seems uncomfortable with a broad, strident style that's death on spontaneity. (It's not a good sign when the 13-year old Culkin is the only nuanced actor in sight.)" Yikes!

I taped the show and just watched it. I didn't think anyone cared about it so I didn't post reminding people he'd be on...sorry It was cute Wayned Brady sang a song for Kirk before he came out and then Kirk sang "Are you Lonesome Tonight" He even danced lol He was throwing in a lot of jokes throughout the interview..it was very funny! You could tell how proud he is of the movie! And Wayne seemed to be a big fan of his!
