Hope everyone will visit this link, to a British newspaper called The Guardian, for a fascinating article on GYPSY ROSE LEE and the creation of GYPSY. Very interesting pre-opening reading. And let's all remember to IGNORE the nasty rantings of a certain NY POST Gossip monger. Bernadette Peters is ill with a cold, as millions of others are right now. To suggest that her absences from th show this week have anything to do with awards nominations or trouble in the show is LUDICROUS. Need we remind ANYONE of how long Ms. Peters' career in the theatre has been, and of the professionalism and dedication for which she is very well known? We all wish her will, and I am sure she will get back as soon as she feels she is able to do the best job she can for the audiences without damaging her voice. We love yo Bernadette!
