Does anybody who has been to see the show, have a souvenir program of Gypsy that they would sell to me? As i won't get to see the show i'm trying to get as much merchandise as possible!
Thanks.

I have an extra one (since I saw it twice already). I can also pick up a t-shirt for you if you want me to and you can pay the cost of that plus shipping and handeling.
I won't be able to pick up the shirt until next Tuesday (because I don't get paid until Monday afternoon).

I was at the show Saturday night, and they have Playbills, but the Souvenir Programs are not available yet. I spoke with some members of the cast outside the theater and they told me the photos for the show had just been taken. I was lucky enough to catch one of the strippers garter belts, it's a green sequined bow tie, during Gypsy's salute to the Garden of Eden. I also spoke with Crista Moore, who played Gypsy in the last production with Tyne Daly. She looks as young and beautiful as she did
in 1990. I also met Robert Dahdah, who directed Bernadette in Dames at Sea.
He said she was wonderful to work with. I really enjoyed the show. One suggestion I have about costumes, is to vary the color of Bernadette's dresses and coats. She wears quite a bit of mauve. In Rose's Turn, she's wearing purple, and I believe that dress should be red, like a rose.

I'm sorry, I meant playbill. I thought it was understood that the photo programs were not out yet. But you can have the playbill, and I can get the shirt for you (they also have posters, but they're very plain).

I was just talking to someone from this board yesterday, and we were discussing how we both would have liked the "Rose's Turn" dress to be red! LOL That's so funny that you said that. But the purple dress is still really nice.

Speaking of posters. I asked the clerk at the souvenir booth, if they were going to have a poster with a photo of Bernadette. He said photos were "very expensive" to produce on a poster. This made me laugh. I have posters of Tyne Daly and Linda Lavin from the previous production, and they are really great souvenirs for theater fans. My tickets for the last production cost $47.50 and now they cost $101.50. So between the costs of tickets and the amount they make selling the posters, you would think it might justify having a great photo of Bernadette on the poster.

I'm mad that they're not going to have posters with pictures on them!

I can't wait until the souveneir programs are on sale I have one from Annie Get Your Gun, but I have no idea what I did with it
