Does Bernadette have a daughter? I was at yesterday's (April 5) matinee, and there was a girl in the audience who was the spitting image of Bernadette, but in her early to mid-20's. She was sitting in one of the box seats. Everyone was staring at her because of the resemblence, especially when she took her seat. She came in about 20 seconds before the show started, so lots of people saw her coming in, and you could hear lots of whispering. Anyone know who this young lady is?

Bernadette doesn't have any children, but she does have nieces (I think her brother has daughters) and nephews (or at least one nephew that I know of). However, if the girl was related, she would most likely have sat in the orchestra where family and friends of the cast usually sit...not in a box.

Well sometimes the house seats (the ones given to family members, etc) are in different places or perhaps the person can request a different location. Kate Winslet (Sam Mendes' girlfriend)sat in the mezz (front row) on Monday night. My friend was sitting next to her. So perhaps it was a last minute request or the young lady requested box seats - some people really like box seats though I don't know why. LOL
Anyway, I'm sure it was Bernadette's niece. Her brother does have two daughters and her sister has the one son. I know the "girls" were really little in the early 80's so that would make them in their early to mid 20s now.

I wouldn't assume anything unless you actually know for certain.
Yes, she has a nephew from her sister and two neices from her brother. And just because this girl at the show looked like her doesn't mean it was one of her neices. Who knows...it could have been..but I wasn't there so I don't know for certain. As I recall, there was a girl who looked a little like Bernadette when she was on INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO and I remember people asking if that was her daughetr or neice when infact, it wasn't.

Sorry. What I meant is that there is a very good chance it was one of her neices - correct age, family resemblance but yes of course there is no way of knowing for sure.

There's a young screenwriter whom my agency represents (I work at a large talent & lit agency) who bears a striking resemblance to Bernadette. It may be her. She's in her 20's and I know she likes to always check out BP's shows because of the resemblance.
