| posted: 4/3/2003 at 2:00:08 PM ET I do understand where you are coming from Jenny that's why I put "I guess" in brackets when suggesting that people say Mary rather than MTM; I'm not even sure that using only her first name would be respectful (considering that this is not a Mary Tyler Moore message board).
I just don't understand how you think referring to Bernadette by her first name is more or just as disrespectful as referring to her by her initials
I'm really not trying to cause an argument, I'm just trying to understand.
I cannot speak for her, but I would think she would rather be referred to as Bernadette (by fans) as opposed to BP.

Her name is not only beautiful but it's rare and I personally would take the time writing it out.

| posted: 4/3/2003 at 2:38:07 PM ET I completely agree with that post! Her name is rare (although I know about 5 other people with that name) and beautiful. It's actually always been one of my favorite names since I was little (before I had ever even heard of Bernadette Peters).
