I just got a copy of the George M! playbill (1968) and thought there was some interesting stuff in the Bernadette Peters cast bio. Incidently, I got it from a lady associated with www.GoingToBeatBreastCancer.com and they were very courteous. Thought I'd plug their website.
"BP (playing Josie Cohan in George M!) impersonated Alice Faye in CURLEY MCDIMPLE when that hit spoof of Hollywood's musical extravanganzas opened at the Wheeler Theatre." (Kevin here.. what is that? Anyone know?) Also says she was in JOHNNY NO TRUMP, as Cinderella in THE PENNY FRIEND. It says she also played in THE BOY FRIEND at the Glen Cove's Wedgewood Dinner Theatre. She had her "stage baptism" in THIS IS GOGGLE.

OK, here's where you figure out my age--I saw Bernadette in "George M"...but, gosh, I barely remember her in it!
