A nice review (a few excerpts):

"The Tony- and Grammy-winning Broadway queen dazzled, amazed and deeply moved the packed house at the Holland Performing Arts Center, just as she did there in 2006 and at the Orpheum Theater in 1995.
Simply put, the years rolled away. Certainly Peters conceded nothing to younger performers when she lay down across the piano and turned up the heat on Peggy Lee’s “Fever,” accompanied only by rim shots from her drummer (original Mousekeeter Cubby O’Brien) and a sultry string-bass line from symphony veteran James Giles.

Neither did she give in to the decades as she transformed Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “There Is Nothin’ Like a Dame” (from “South Pacific”) from a lusty sailor’s anthem into a come-hither siren song.

But Peters also drew upon the wisdom of her years — and the joys and tears that produce them — as she interpreted several tunes from the Sondheim songbook. “In Buddy’s Eyes” was the first of two numbers she brought over from her turn as Sally Durant Plummer in the 2011 revival of “Follies.” She made the other one, “Losing My Mind,” drip with regret:

With the audience thus mesmerized, Peters drew even deeper from Sondheim’s emotional well with one of his most beloved and poignant songs, “Send In the Clowns,” which she performed for six months in the 2010 Broadway revival of “A Little Night Music.”"
