I saw Bernadette tonight. It was a fun show. The first half was the symphony with out her, however they played songs from throughout her career including songs from Follies, AGYG, Pennies from Heaven, The Jerk and more!

Here is her song list. I missed writing one down, will update if I think of it. She wore the purple dress and sounded fantastic.

Let Me Entertain You
No One is Alone
Nothing Like a Dame
Fever
Some Enchanted Evening
In Buddy's Eyes
Losing My Mind
Johanna
When you wish upon a star?
You Could Drive a Person Crazy
*Sondheim Song I cannot remember*
Children Will Listen
Being Alive
Kramer's Song

The missing song was "With So Little to be Sure Of." And she blew the roof off with Johanna.. The woman sure knows how to entertain!

Forgot to mention......They likely print up the programs at the beginning of the season, but her bio said "the soon to be released independent film Coming Up Roses".

Probably best to not get my hopes up.....

I was also at the concert last night. Bernadette was fabulous, of course, and it was quite a treat to hear the NJ Symphony play pieces from her career (including "Tonight You Belong To Me" from THE JERK) in the first half of the show.

Bernadette sounded great, as she always does, but she sounded particularly good last night and was very funny in her commentary. She did have a large bandage on her left leg, so I hope everything is okay with that.

I saw the show last night and was so impressed. I was a little nervous, for me, as I was going by myself from the Poconos and always get screwed up when I have to drive to Newark. Thank God for GPS. The venue was very nice. The orchestra did a wonderful opening for her. I got a little nervous when the conductor referred to it as the first half as his half was roughly 30 minutes according to the lady next to me with the watch. But I was happy with the length of her performance. She has very friendly fans. She was glittery and spectacular looking, like a fairy princess. Her singing was amazing and I am so happy I made it.

Didn't she want to keep the setlist secret though? I guess it doesn't do any harm as it's a great set.
