Bernadette's NY1 On Stage interview is up. She talks about her role in FOLLIES and the character she plays in SMASH.

Her SMASH character will be really interesting. Sounds like she will be a Momma Rose type, with a hint of Desiree Armfeldt.

The interview starts around 9:30. (I love her laugh in the beginning!)

I'm glad she spoke about her SMASH character. From the clips I've seen, it looks like the show will be pretty good.

I'm very excited to see SMASH. I hope it does really well. I'm looking forward to seeing how ROSE'S TURN is done on the show.

It will definitely be interesting to see how "Rose's Turn" is integrated into Bernadette's episode, and how she'll sing it. I wonder if they'll change any of the lyrics or orchestration.

They might, like how they changed the lyrics for GLEE when Kurt sang his version.

where did you see that Rose's turn will be incorporated into her episode?
