Bernadette will be a guest on the Today Show on Dec 21, 2010. This will be on the 4th hour of the show, with Kathie Lee and Hoda (which, unfortunately, I do not get here).

I sort of expected Bernadette to show up on Stephen Colbert's show last night after Sondhiem told him that she should sing Colbert's parody of Send In The Clowns.

I'm SURE she'll show up -- on Dec. 21 (today is Dec 17).

(If you mean on Stephen Colbert -- no.)

Not sure if anyone else saw this. It was a nice interview but nothing new. Probably just making a push for ALNM and the upcoming Follies. Stella is a Star got a little mention too. I think Santa got a little thrill today - Bernadette sat on his lap during a "going to commercial break" segment. She was singing along with the music and acting a bit silly while sitting on his lap.

"Particular mention must be made of Bernadette Peters, who turns up briefly in a sort of sparkly Glinda the Good costume. She's the reluctant muse sent to help Alice with her writing. The muse is dressed like Oz, sounds like Queens and behaves like a bored student adviser." Alice Film Review, The New York Times, December 25, 1990

"I'm one star away from Dolly Parton ... and Raymond Massey is between us. I hope we don't suffocate him." Bernadette Peters receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, April 24, 1987

You know I hope someone got a still shot of Bernadette in Santa's lap while Giada fed him cookies because, well, my goodness...

Unfortunately the fun part is not on the video:

playbill video of Bernadette on the Today Show, Dec. 21

Seems a bit late to be talking about ALNM, but always nice to see her, she looks and sounds great.

Ah, those Playbill folks, always so straight laced.
