Bernadette did a really nice interview on Rosie Radio this morning. It's on sirius xm radio. If you don't subscribe you can still hear it. Just register online for the free trial ( you can do either xmradio or sirius) and go to the entertainment section, click in Rosie Radio and it should be playing all day tomorrow. I'm not sure exactly how it works on the weekends but normally the show replays continuously for 24 hours after it airs (10am weekdays in NYC not sure times for other parts of the country). Give it a shot. There wasn't anything thrilling in the interview but it was longer than most that she gives and seems very comfortable with Rosie. Definitely some funny bits!

I wasn't able to find it.

"Particular mention must be made of Bernadette Peters, who turns up briefly in a sort of sparkly Glinda the Good costume. She's the reluctant muse sent to help Alice with her writing. The muse is dressed like Oz, sounds like Queens and behaves like a bored student adviser." Alice Film Review, The New York Times, December 25, 1990

"I'm one star away from Dolly Parton ... and Raymond Massey is between us. I hope we don't suffocate him." Bernadette Peters receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, April 24, 1987

Sorry. I think they're replaying Thursday's show now. I don't really listen in the weekends so I'm not sure how they do the replays so it's possible they could play Friday's show again. It's kind of hard to tell what day it is because there's no list. You just tune in and have to listen from wherever they have the show in the playback. You can't choose to listen from the beginning or choose a specific show. If you do just want to have it on in the background just in case it comes in again I think that would be the only way to happen upon it. Sorry it's so vague and I can't give a specific link. There wasn't anything new, it was just nice that they were so relaxed and talked for about 20 mins, normally her talk show segments are so short.

One really funny part that stands out:

Rosie was gushing about her talent and asked her why she's so loved by the gay community, Bernadette said 'I like to think it's that they have good taste' and Rosie agreed. Then it went something like this (paraphrase):

R: 'well as a member of the gay community I want to tell you you're fabulous and we love you'
B: Thank you, I love you guys too.
R: Well I'm not really the official spokesperson
B: (without missing a beat, in the tune of the wizard of oz munchkin song) As mayor of gay city
R: (then everyone starts laughing and Rosie starts singing to the tune of The Lollypop Guild) I represent the lesbian guild, the lesbian guild, the lesbian guild and in the name of the lesbian guild. We wish to welcome you to gaytown land.
They both were laughing a lot and really having a fun time. It was cute.

That sounds excellent!!

I keep wishing someone would post the interview on youTube ... they do that with a good deal of rosie radio segments.
