As it turns out the movie is not on the reminder list of elegible movies for this years Oscars. I don't know why...I was figuring maybe they just didn't add it yet but the list has been out for a few weeks now. So maybe either it isn't elegible because it didn't get its 7 consecutive day run in the LA theatre before the deadline( which was Dec 31st) I believe it opened in the LA theatre( The Bridge) on December 27th..which would mean it didn't get its 7 day required run. OR maybe it was the choice of the producers and directors to not submit the movie for this years awards since it hasn't even hit the markets yet.
I guess we'll know for sure on February 11th when the nominees are announced.

hmmmm.... I heard that the producers and directors didn't want to submit it but I don't know if that's true... as u said, I guess all we can do now is wait...
