As many of you who attended this year's Broadway Barks may remember the mention of the NYC Pet Project's Book...well here is the picture of Bernadette & Stella( eventho its not a new pic) and her letter to Stella( too cute!!!) They also have some other photos of celebrities at Broadway Barks.

They recently had a launch party for the book @ NY's Planet Hollywood. Here is an excerpt from an article about the event....

"I toured in the chorus [of Gypsy] when I was a little girl-I imagined singing all the songs, I knew it inside and out," trilled Ms. Peters, who was decked out in black ruffles.
It was tough to imagine the pint-sized, squeaky Queens native belting the part of big, bad stage mother Mama Rose every night. "It is a rangy show, and an emotional role, and it will be physically taxing," said Ms. Peters, before turning away to greet a firefighter.

That letter was so sweet.  I kind of feel bad for Kramer though.  It's kind of obvious that she favors Stella.
But who knows....maybe it's more like Stella is her dog and Kramer is Michael's?

You enrich my life 10 fold! When I'm away from you there is a big void that I feel, making me realize how healing having pets are! Thank you for that!
Your kindness to little dogs when you crawl up to them to kiss them is another part of your personality that is a wonder!
I know you were abused when you were little - but the choice you have made to be kind and loving makes me very proud.

I think Bernadette probably feels a special connection to Stella because of the hard life she had as a puppy and because Bernadette and Michael rescued her and brought her to a very loving home. I think more of it has to do with the fact that generally Stella sits better for pictures. kramer is pretty hyper and is usually all over the place! There is only really one time I can recall when it was Stella who wouldn't sit for the photographer but Kramer would.

I got the book today and it is beautiful! Some of the Broadway performers in the book are: Maureen Moore and her husband,Alicia Silverstone, Vanessa Williams, George Hamilton, Shuler Hensley and his family,Merilu Henner and her sons,Patrick Wilson, Peter Gallagher,Bill Pullman, Richard Kind,Hal Linden( all taken at Broadway Barks), Scott and Bear ( who were at Broadway Barks),Felicia Finley,Adam Pscal and his son, Louise Pitre and her husband,Ben Vereen and his family and Mary Tyler Moore. Its such a great book! It even talks about many of the Animal Organizations that are a part of Broadway Barks each year.
