Looks like Bernadette will be on the show promoting Living Proof. Too bad she won't be co-hosting but I also enjoy her as a guest.

I always love it when Bernadette is on Regis and Kelly!!! Isn't it true that she was up for Kelly's position as co-host?

"No one is alone!"

I'm a theatre major and I must say that Bernadette Peters is my inspiration!! I love her so much! She has a passion for theatre that can be seen even by people who don't even care about the arts! Bernadette Peters is the queen of Broadway!!

Not really. Bernadette co-hosted several times while Regis was searching for a new co-host and pretty much every time she did, Regis would ask her if she was interested in the job. Bernadette never really answered and would just change the subject (sometimes challantly and other times not so challantly). I definitely got the idea she wasn't interested and just didn't want to say so on air. There were also a few articles regarding the search when people speculated who was being considered and she often was on the list. Though I think the list was really just made up of the women who guest hosted the most. I remember one article using the term "too smart for the room" in describing that Bernadette probably wasn't really in the running for it.

So people definitely thought she would be good - Regis included - but I don't think Bernadette was ever actually interested.

Ha Ha I am switching cable users today and I was so afraid the installation person was going to be here before the interview and I would not get to see it. He showed up about 10 minute after it ended. Good timing.
She looked great as usual. That color Blue (her dress) is gorgeous with her skin-tone and hair. The clip they showed from Living Proof was great. She had the audience a bit misty-eyed.

Apparently there is now a doll version of her dog Kramer lol And she was talking about that. She's doing a book/stuffed dog signing at FAO Shwartz on Nov 8th
