I just wanted to share why I love Bernadette.
I recently discovered the magic of Bernadette Peters. Ever since I saw her in Into The Woods, I have enjoyed listening to her music. Unfortunately, I live in Australia and am only 15 so my chances of ever seeing her live are slim. However, she is my inspiration and I will do everything in my power to see her one day.
She does amazing work with animals to protect them when they cannot protect themselves and for that I am thankful. She cares for everyone and never speaks badly of anyone and for that she is a role model. When one of my friends passed away, her rendition of No One Is Alone made me strong and for that I look up to her.
She is truly an angel.

Thanks very much for sharing, Soup. And very well put- you are wonderfully articulate for your age! As for seeing her live- if you cross your fingers for me, I will keep mine crossed for you. Something tells me though that, short of selling a kidney on Ebay, I'm not going to have the chance to witness her performing live. But thanks to the internet I get to see videos on youtube, and live vicariously through the experiences of the people on this site!

I will definitely keep my fingers (and toes) crossed for you =) Thankyou for your comment, I appreciate it. Sadly, I have dial-up and my computer is painfully slow so I can't really see her performances online =( Hopefully we get Broadband soon...
