In interviews, like this one, she's often said that another book (about Stella) is in the works. I do hope that means we'll have another BP composed song too.
Whenever "Kramer's Song" is mentioned in these interviews, Bernadette, with typical modesty, understates the importance of this song to the book. Much praise has (quite rightly) been heaped upon Liz Murphy's great illustrations for "Broadway Barks" ... but I think Bernadette's song is equally responsible for setting the atmosphere of this sweet little story, and consequently contributing to the enormous success of the book.
Maybe it's time that BP should own up to the fact that she's written a moving and beautiful song, and that she is a very good songwriter. Please, Bernadette, give us some more!

I'm always so pleased when she mentions in interviews (I think I first saw it in a Playbill article) that she's going to be writing a book about Stella... I have to admit that when I first learned about Kramer's Song && the book, I felt really bad that there was no Stella's Song. But the fact that the book is in the works makes it okay!
