I mean, only HE would devote an entire headline and article about Bernadette being on television when broadway stars are on tv alll the time, but are usually just lumped together in one general article on playbill.com. Glad he plays for our team!

Registered: 6/7/2003 | posted: 7/7/2008 at 1:12:15 PM ET I attended her book reading and signing at Politics and Prose in Washington, DC on June 27. She took questions from the group--I asked whether she would be doing tv appearances before BB, and she said that she would be in California the week just before BB and so would not be doing tv appearances. She said that she would be "flying in" for BB on Saturday --hmm, there's an image!(She did not say what she would be doing in California, and I did not ask.)
(Hi, folks, yes it is Jean)
(By the way, check out her article on Wikipedia--one of the very skilled and experienced editors has been working on it (no, not me, altho' I've helped out) and thinks it could be a GA (Good Article).)

The Wikipedia entry is a GA all right, only it's not good--it's great!

I think I'll set my tape for Regis anyway with the hope that she will be on.
At what "article" are you referring to? Link please.
"Particular mention must be made of Bernadette Peters, who turns up briefly in a sort of sparkly Glinda the Good costume. She's the reluctant muse sent to help Alice with her writing. The muse is dressed like Oz, sounds like Queens and behaves like a bored student adviser." Alice Film Review, The New York Times, December 25, 1990
"I'm one star away from Dolly Parton ... and Raymond Massey is between us. I hope we don't suffocate him." Bernadette Peters receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, April 24, 1987

| posted: 7/7/2008 at 2:38:50 PM ET Oh, her general listing. I didn't realize they were called articles. Looks fantastic. Can I make one suggestion? I think saying her father was a truck driver is not accurate. I think something along the lines of a bakery delivery driver or something like that. It just has a completely different connotation for me. Bernadette always makes so much over the bakery part (and let's not forget Name That Tune) and how he would buy italian bread and then put his own packaging (Lazzara Italian Bread) on it.

| posted: 7/7/2008 at 9:05:52 PM ET Yes, but they still sometimes pre-tape segments.
I've been to tapings where I've had to sit and watch a TV screen because a segment was taped the week before or something.
