An item from the Chicago Sun-Times (Jan 7):
"CHICAGO actress Ginifer King, who has been performing in "Sunday in the Park with George" at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, will be heading to New York after the show closes Feb. 2 to start rehearsals for the musical "Gypsy" starring Bernadette Peters and directed by Sam ("Road to Perdition") Mendes. King will be a member of the cast and an understudy for one of the main characters. The show officially opens May 1."
