Welcome! In answer to your text .... Sadly, you probably answered your own question when you said "no-one I know knows who she is". Each of Streisand's London concerts was performed in front of 27,000 fans at the O2 Arena at Greenwich ... enough said.

But the Royal Festival Hall holds just under three thousand and the tickets sold out almost the very minute BP's concert was announced back in '98, so there is enough of us to fill that place -- and now that the South Bank theatre complex has just had it's multi-million Pound refurbishment -- who knows?, maybe 2008 might be the perfect time for another Bernadette London appearance.

But there's also the West End, I don't know if BP is even remotely bothered or not, but at the end of the day, the absence of a West End run on her CV may look rather conspicuous.

"There’s a lot in the world for us to turn our attention to — helping people, helping animals, and helping animals help people." ... Bernadette Peters, August, 2007
