I did. I left at 6:15 though so there aren't any pictures from the casts of Curtains, 110, Grey Gardens or Chicago. I also ran into the production coordinator who wanted me to thank those who gave to the group donation this year.

My Broadway Barks pics ~ somehow out of order

I went and took way more pics than I should have. I'll post them after I fly home. It was fun and a lot of animals got adopted at the event. I'll post my Today Show pics too although most of them are blurry because Bernadette and Mary kept walking around to pet all the dogs.

Well I'm just back from the ASPCA and I'm sorry to say that Tyson has not found his home yet. But I'm sure he will soon.

I also fed some 2 week old puppies who came in yesterday with their very malnourished mom. The puppies are actually very healthy and ate well. Though they are squirmy little suckers. To thank me, two of them poopped all over me. So I'm home a little earlier than usual.

I stopped by Broadway Barks for a short time. I did take some pictures but they were on a disposable camera so I'll try to post them when I get them developed. Though all the others are just great.

And I must ask what could be construed as a somewhat inappropriate question but did anyone see the doggie face on Bernadette's .... well, I'll just say back pocket. She had drawn it on there with a blue pen. Pretty funny I thought and I was standing in the crowd so that everytime she turned sideways on stage, I saw it.

Mandy! I saw you. But then you left early, so I did not get to say hello and chat

The only other person I saw (that I know from here) was Renee.
It was crowded, as usual. My feet killed from standing.

It really does break my heart to see how many of those animals don't have homes, or were abused. When I got home, I smothered my doggies with hugs and kisses.
One of my friends was the first on a list of 86 possible people to adopt Teddy (that cute, tan pomeranian). So I hope she gets approved. She really loves animals. Already has a cat that she adopted at last year's barks.

I would totally adopt Tyson myself if I could. I think he is completely adorable.

I took pictures and some video, so I will post those by....Tuesday. Monday is a little busy for me.

Hope everyone is well. I know I don't post that often lol but I'm around.

Nice to hear from you Christine. And good luck to your friend on her adoption.

More great pic here as well. I know dogs can start panting when they are anxious, but that pup (is it a Shiba Inu or some such mix?) with MTM, Angela and Bernadette sure looks happy.

Thanks for those photo links, smashing pics!

Ever so slightly .... Quite coincidentally, 'Broadway Barks' Saturday found me agreeing to take in a cat that had been adopted, along with her "sister", by a neighbour. The cats had been caught up in a very bad (but non-fatal) house fire a month ago. Apparently their owner had previously neglected (perhaps mistreated) the animals in favour of her daily bottle of vodka ... (the good Lord works in mysterious ways, does he not?) ............. Since they came to my neighbour's place the younger cat has hidden away behind the furniture and on venturing out has consistently been bullied by her "sister". So, I was asked to take the timid and bullied animal into my home on Saturday afternoon and after taking one look at her I just couldn't refuse. So little Sally has now taken up her place behind the sofa in my living room and won't come out except to eat and use her litter tray - and only when no-one is around. At least she has a healthy appetite. I'll be taking Sally to the Vet's surgery on Friday for another physical check-up but just wondered if any of you "cat-savvy" Bernadette fans out there had any advice or ideas about my new addition . We don't know for sure, but we think she is about six years old so I'm hoping there is a chance for her to adapt and feel secure here in her new home. After having a West Highland Terrier for 15 years I think I'm pretty knowledgeable about doggy behaviour but at a complete loss when it comes to cats. Any advice will be greatly appreciated, please PM me.

as Bernadette says....just keep moving on.....

Scottie, I think it's not unusual for cats to "hide" when they come into a new home (until they feel secure of the situation).

Just a heads up: Bernadette's official site has been slightly updated. The article section now has a bunch more articles and links to pictures (mostly I think it's all Broadway Barks). No really great interviews or anything so don't get your hopes up. But the pictures are fun.

I was noticing that she was wearing an asortment of necklaces of rainbow colors does anybody think that means anything. because I don't recall her ever wearing as far as necklaces go that many or that much color.
