As I recall, she seems very free and easy in this movie. In addition to her singing I like her ease...

I knew there was a reason I liked you when I met you!
Just joking, of course, I don't need to have my likes/taste confirmed. But, it is nice...

From: Michigan | posted: 12/3/2006 at 2:22:09 AM ET I had never seen this before today. Of course it was incredibly corny, but aren't all TV holiday movies (and I love 'em for it )? And of course Bernadette was fantastic. She's so cute and funny in the beginning with her big hair and clothes. And the scenes with her father are so well played.
I also loved the scenes when she is giving advice to Rimes. I don't really know how to describe it, but Bernadette has this certain smile that she uses from time to time. I first noticed it during the "Move On" number in SITPWG. There is something so warm and soothing about it and her eyes are just filled with compassion and this wisdom that is so striking...perhaps it's part of that "experienced innocence" I hear so much about.

"Crazy" clip on YouTube
Even with the crazy wig and outfit, she looks great in this movie.
