I am flying to Chicago this weekend to audition for a lead in GYPSY. This is the chance of a lifetime for me. Wish me luck everyone.

They're only holding auditions for the roles of Tulsa, Tessie Tura/Miss Cratchitt, Hollywood Blonde/Louise Understudy and Hollywood Blond/June Understudy.And from what I've heard they may already have found someone to play Tessie Tura.
I would consider Mama Rose as the leading role. There's no doubt that Bernadette will definitely get top billing.
I hope you made an apppointment with the Equity office because I'm sure a lot of people will be auditioning there! Especially now that Kate Buddeke is from Chicago and was cast. Eventhough,its an EPA though I'm sure there's probably a very good possibility that they'll see those who didn't make an appointment or who are not equity( as they often do).
I wish you all the luck in the world!! And you're right, it is a chance of a lifetime!

I am auditioning for Tulsa through a request from my agent - and flying from LA to Chicago. I have done Tulsa before - it's a great role.
