I was reading In Style magazine the other day (the one with Courtney Cox on the cover) and was skimming the fashion report from NYC's fashion week. Anyway, there is a quote from Bernadette about the designer Zac Posen.
This is what it said:
"His clothes look new but classic," Bernadette Peters explained her link in the chain: "A friend told me, 'There's this great new designer who hangs out next door at Jacqueline Schnabel's house.'" A videotape of Posen's work, passed over the back fence, made Peters an instant convert.

It was short- no picture or anything but Bernadette hasn't been in any magazines or done anything in a while, so I thought those who don't get In Style might like that

I remember Bernadette wearing one of Posen's dresses to the after party of her RCMH concert. It was very pretty. Sorta reminded me of something a dancer might wear because it was very "form fitting". Now, the hand bag that she had with the dress...that was cute!!! I don't think it was one of Posen's designs though.
