From: NYC | posted: 4/23/2006 at 6:12:57 PM ET OKAY - we are basically just a week away from the event we have been anticipating for so long!
I'm throwing it out there:
1) Will she have a new gown?
2) Will she unveil new repertoir?
3) Any special surprises?
4) Official video or sound recording?
5) What celebrities do we anticipate being there?

3) Any special surprises? WE CAN HOPE
4) Official video or sound recording? ???
5) What celebrities do we anticipate being there? Sondheim, Regis & Joy, theatre people - it's a Monday night....

Maybe Bliss will make an apperance. Not sure where she is these days.

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 4/23/2006 at 7:29:35 PM ET LOL! I meant Sondheim: Celebrity/Genius/God will be there, AND in addition, other people who may or may not qualify as celebrities, depending on the looseness of your definition. Oh, now I'm getting very convoluted...

Registered: 8/14/2003 | posted: 4/23/2006 at 8:49:05 PM ET Well, his show is dark on Monday night and his Sunday show is a matinee. I know he's said he sees many of her shows. I'd like to see him attend.
I don't have a ticket yet but am looking forward to seeing his show as well.
Jean, I LOVE your new title by the way!

1) I would think so (didn't the current concert gown debuted in Nov. 2001) but if the concert is 90 minutes or so probably only one.
2) I'm hoping for a good handful. A number from Bounce would be interesting. I don't think she publically performed many of the new Carnegie numbers before that concert. Being Alive at one of the Texas shows maybe
3) The new songs
4) I'd think we'd have heard
5) Who's been at the others -- Joel Grey, Sondheim, MTM, Laurents, Jonathan Schwartz, Andrea McArdle, Bob Mackie, Barbara Walters, Howard McGillan, Ann Hampton Calloway

| posted: 5/1/2006 at 12:29:29 PM ET Yeah, but filled seats and being sold out are different. Those empty seats may have been purchased and the ticket holders did not show up for whatever reason.
Still, I agree because I remember at the time reading that it was *Almost* sold out. Which is still really great for the size of Radio City.
