What a great interview on the website. It's so nice to see that personal side of Bernadette that talks so intimately about two members of her family that she loves so much. (As opposed to the "we have 5 minutes on The View to talk about the latest CD release or show because the producers scheduled this" interview) Did anyone else get the slightest bit choked up when she mentioned "my husband and I..."?

This is more of a technical/computer question. Is it possible to record these video clips somehow? I know there are others out there but I dont know if there is a way to somehow safe them. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Was this taped before or after michael passed away? Because it seemed like she was saying "we" a lot, almost in the present tense. She also looked very sad, so I am guessing it was after.

I have to agree that this was a much more subdued interveiw than she normally does. I think back to the way she talked about Stella when she was filling in on Regis and Kelly and talked about the pet psychic. It was a much more lighthearted discussion. It looked like she was still wearing her wedding ring.

Thanks GraceAnne I just saw it. She did seem more subdued than usual but it was good to see her smile and hear the "I'm lucky" comment at the end. Kramer is so adorable.

If you look at the pictures that Jean posted in her photo album, you can really see the underlying pain and sadness on Bernadette's face. Yes, she smiled and laughed in the interview, but there was a heaviness to her spirit that was very apparent.

yeah, i thought she looked VERY sad. her mind was clearly elsewhere even when she was talking  so sad.

Noticed it too. And the "we have" and "our" and the wedding ring. Poor darling. So damn unfair. Subdued is not the word.

Oh I didn't mean that she wasn't sad. I did see the underlying sadness in her face but I thought that there was at least one genuine smile I think it was toward the end. That's what I was referring to.

I've wondered which dog was the alpha dog. Even though Kramer was there first and Stella was a puppy when she entered the family, I wonder if Stella is the alpha dog. AmStaffs usually want to be the dominant dog, and since she keeps Kramer in line during walks and she won the Battle of the Crate, she might be alpha.
Kramer is adorable. I love his ears.

In the Daily News's Rush & Molloy gossip colunmn today it says that Bernadette will help celebrate the ASPCA's 140th anniversary in Union Square this evening. However the ASPCA official site doesn't mention her as someone who will be there. The event is supposed to be from 4 to 8.

Do I dare sneak out early? I was just off for 6 days. Ugh. It's gorgeous weather today too. I was just down by Bryant Park and there were kids handing out some sort of ASPCA stuff but I didn't have time to stop because I was already late. I hate working for a living.

So my co-worker just brought me one of the support bracelet the ASPCA kids were handing out - they are orange of course. I may just go down to Union Square to at least check it out.
