So when do you think they'll (the network) will confirm that Bernadette is really going to be on? And GraceAnne do you think your friend could give us any details about the episode?

I've looked around the internet and I've found nothing about this (not even the items GA gave us), so I'm prepared to be patient and to be pleasantly surprised.

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 4/9/2006 at 9:54:32 PM ET There's an article up on the USA Today site now about the GLAAD awards ceremony. The Will & Grace cast/crew were there and they're quoted as saying that Bernadette was third choice for the part after Barbra Streisand and Meryl Streep. I thought it was just a bit tacky to come out and say that she was basically a fall-back. Oh, well.

| posted: 4/9/2006 at 10:00:33 PM ET Karen, I felt the same way when I first read it. However, I suppose you have to be somewhat flattered to be the third choice when Barbra Streisand and Meryl Streep were 1st and 2nd.

| posted: 4/11/2006 at 3:38:00 PM ET I just saw a clip of Liza when she was recently on Larry King and I couldn't help but think that she would make a great sister for Karen too...well maybe just a half like her and Karen have the same dads and Bernadette and Karen have the same moms. We'll never know...

From: NYC | posted: 4/11/2006 at 5:01:20 PM ET If you saw Liza on "Arrested Development", then you know that she was brilliant at comedy - I never laughed so hard in my life and I have to agree with you that she would have been a riot as Karen's sister. That being said, I know Bernadette is equally great at comic timing and she will be stellar - likewise she would have been very funny on "Arrested Development".

From: pennsylvania | posted: 4/13/2006 at 11:06:10 PM ET I can't wait to see this episode! I completely agree that Bernadette would've been great on "Arrested Development," which is one of the most underrated shows in my opinion. Also, perhaps the cast of Will and Grace forgot Bernadette's emmy award-winning turn on Ally Mcbeal and she was hysterical!
