(Today is restaurant day. Yesterday was parades all day uptown-got there at 11 AM and left St. Charles Ave--the Avenue-- around 11:30 PM. A wonderful, wonderful day. A bittersweet Mardi Gras, for sure.)

Registered: 6/5/2004 | posted: 2/28/2006 at 1:02:59 AM ET hi! I'm a new member to this, but not a new Bernadette fan! I've been on this site for a while, I was just too shy to post! haha. But I thought BP's birthday was a good time! I am having a pizza party and having everyone bring a donation to broadway barks instead of a gift! I just baked a funfetti cake! It's nice to see lots of other BP fans.

From: northern VA | posted: 3/1/2006 at 7:21:01 PM ET I feel so deprived that I have never had a funfetti cake. I did a Google search and I'm thinking that it involves a Pillsbury cake mix?
I'm exhausted and too lazy right now to do anything more than a cursory search.

| posted: 3/1/2006 at 10:59:16 PM ET It IS Pillsbury cake mix. It's like a white/yellow cake batter with colors (from melted sprinkles I guess) in the powder.
The Funfetti frosting is Vanilla with little colorful sugar dots that look like confetti.
Yes, I am a total loser for being so excited to describe Funfetti cake; but it's really SO good. lol
