I was just checking up on the May 1st concert ticket sales, and apparently the show is sold out! The website says there are still rear orchestra seats left, but when you go to buy them - there are none left.
So excited!

I have been looking for a ticket for awhile (but am too spoiled to sit in the rear orchestra...), so now my chances look bleak! If anyone finds themselves with an extra ticket that they need to sell, please keep me in mind

There is a very good chance that I will have an extra ticket though I won't be sure until much closer to the concert date - mid April. But I'll keep you in mind and feel free to PM me closer to the concert.

Does anyone know if tickets are available through any brokers? I'm looking for two seats, but can't find any broker who can get them.

Hey Anon,
I have had lots of lock with ebay regarding "final shows" for broadway shows and the like. Perhaps as it gets closer to May, some tickets would be available on ebay.
Also, somebody correct me here if I'm wrong...but aren't there a few seats, "house seats," always set aside for broadway shows for relatives and friends of the actors? Perhaps a few seats will become available if friends and relatives do not buy those seats.

So I wasn't panicking yet about not having tickets - however, I am now in full panic mode. The concert IS sold out - I just got off the phone with Avery Fisher Hall - AND it appears that brokers don't have tickets. So now what?! If anyone hears of available tickets, can they keep us posted, I know there are a few of us that are empty handed :-(
