There is a little blurb and picture of Bernadette and Michael in Parade magazine. It's in the section where people can write in and ask questions.

I also read that blurb. Its so adorable and they both look so beautiful in the picture!

Question: How did Broadway star Bernadette Peters meet her husband, Michael Wittenberg, who recently died in a helicopter crash?
Answer: One evening in 1995, as Peters waited for a date in front of her Manhattan building, Wittenberg, an investment banker 14 years her junior, tried to start a conversation: He asked if she could sew a missing button on his tux. She countered that she had no needle or thread. The next day, he left his business card and a button with her doorman. They were wed in July 1996 at Mary Tyler Moore's home. Sadly, Peters, 57, was widowed in September.
The photo is captioned: Peters and husband in 2003: Fairytale romance came to a tragic end.

Could someone describe the picture or post it? I'd love to see it since everyone seems to be gushing about it.

Thanks Jean. It worked perfectly. Yes, that is a great picture. I figured it was one I had seen before. Unfortunately I don't normally buy the NY Sunday paper that contains the Parade Magazine and didn't get a chance to get out yesterday to see if anyone had "Sunday leftovers".
