That interview was maybe the second long interview I had read with Bernadette back in the AGYG days, and these interviews established in my mind that I liked her simple, direct answers and apparent non-diva and professional approach to her work.

I remember after her appearance on Rosie in 1997 people started guessing which show it was that they were talking about her coming back to Broadway in and before it was officially announced that she would be doing AGYG, someone who said they were related to Marvin Laird, said that she was going to do AGYG followed by Gypsy.
