Good heavens, how cleaver! I never would have thought to do that. I have a stack of magazine interviews that I would like to share but, short of scanning/emailing, I didn't know how.

That interview was maybe the second long interview I had read with Bernadette back in the AGYG days, and these interviews established in my mind that I liked her simple, direct answers and apparent non-diva and professional approach to her work.

I think Gypsy may already have been on the horizon. I remember after her appearance on Rosie in 1997 people started guessing which show it was that they were talking about her coming back to Broadway in and before it was officially announced that she would be doing AGYG, someone who said they were related to Marvin Laird, said that she was going to do AGYG followed by Gypsy.
