GraceAnne's "Little Known Facts" made me think of this BP movie-related tidbit:
The commercial network broadcasts of Pink Cadillac and The Jerk each contain at least one scene which uses a different take from that seen in the theatrical release.

My friend told me that she watched "The Jerk" on the Spanish channel the other day...said it was quite amusing to hear a similar sounding voice to BP's in Spanish.

A few years ago someone--not here I think--mentioned that imdb.com sometimes shows an "alternate versions" for some movies; here it is for the Jerk:

Thanks Jean, that's fun. I'd never noticed that being available on imdb. The scene I was thinking of in the Jerk is the one they describe where Navin and Marie first meet. I figured they had to use different shots to keep Billy's t-shirt from showing, and in Pink Cadillac they had to use a different take to keep less of a ummm . . . Bernadette from showing.
