Should I wait to see if there are any cancellations and call them up to see if any seats open up? Or should I get rear orchestra seats? Has anyone been in this concert hall and know how the rear orchestra seats are?
Or if anyone has an extra ticket in the orchestra...I'll pay you like $250 for it lol.
Thanks

From: NYC | posted: 11/1/2005 at 5:14:59 PM ET As I posted before, Avery Fisher Hall is not a huge hall. It seats only around 2400. The side tiers are not great, unless you are on the first tier or in the front row of the second tier. Any seats at the rear of the tiers (or center) are fine. The stage is fairly wide and a little high.

I was simply asking, for those who have been to this hall before, whether or not rear orchestra or first tier seats are better. You cannot tell where the better seats are from a seating chart. I apologize if you had already posted previously about this subject.

If I had to choose between back of orchestra or first tier, I would choose first tier to avoid sitting behind a tall person.
