Tickets were not supposed to go on sale to the general public until tomorrow, but they broke their own rule. Also, many of the tickets are being held for a "possible gala" - so if you don't get tickets soon, maybe there will be some left next April.

From: Atlanta, GA | posted: 9/20/2005 at 3:11:29 PM ET Hey all, this is my first post, I just wanted to spread my excitement for Bernadette's Concert. It was just by chance that I was browsing the LC website, and found 2 seats in row B (5 & 7). I was shocked. I wonder if these seats were supposed to be released? I checked now and they are selling tickets in Row X. I guess we would consider ourselves lucky! Congrats to those who got their tickets, and good luck to those trying. See you in NY!

| posted: 9/20/2005 at 3:53:25 PM ET Well damn I slept late because I had to take my Mom to the emergency room yesterday, and I didn't get to sleep until around 3am.
Also, I am really annoyed at Lincoln Center because I have given them money gifts, and they were supposed to email ahead of time as to when tickets would go on sale.
I had two tickets in row C earlier, but my friend decided she couldn't afford her's, so when I went to change the order I lost it. :[
Now all they have is like row U, X, W, etc.
I have decided to get a ticket in the third tier because those are the cheapest, and then if any really good orchestra seats open up I will buy one. lol
Because I am not paying $100 to sit 20 rows back to then find out that like row D or something had a cancellation.
I will be AT the concert though. lol So I would love to meet up with everyone for dinner and/or drinks.

From: Arizona | posted: 9/20/2005 at 4:17:58 PM ET I kept getting row V and X then all of a sudden D18 popped up!! So I got it But...I really want to go to broadway barks next summer and I'm not sure yet if I can afford to make 2 trips to NY that close together. Ugh, this is not a decision I wanted to make right now. So there is a small chance I might be selling mine but I won't know until next spring, lol.By the way, I couldn't find a seating chart on the lincoln center site, does anyone have a link?

From: NYC | posted: 9/20/2005 at 4:20:24 PM ET As long as you are somewhere in the center orchestra at Avery Fisher Hall then you'll be fine even if you are 20 rows back. AFH is not huge, but the the stage is a bit high and wide - the side tier seats are the worst and most of them are sold as partial views. It is not anywhere near as large as Radio City or even Carnegie.

From: NYC | posted: 9/20/2005 at 4:21:56 PM ET Hmmmm BleuTwinks - Bway Barks is fun but remember there is no entertainment and its crowded and hot. Yes, if I was given the choice between the two, I'd definitely take the concert.

| posted: 9/20/2005 at 4:30:54 PM ET Well I have a center seat, so I'm not on the sides.
It's not as if I haven't seen her in concert before, so to me spending $100 to sit $20+ rows back is just not worth it...knowing that there's a chance I can get a much better seat for the same price.
lol I don't know. My mind is in a wierd place today.
I'm not completely setteling for that seat just yet. I know I can probably get one of my friends to buy the $55 ticket from me if I get another seat; but there's no way they'll buy a $100 ticket.
Twinks! It's much better to see her perform in concert than to go to Broadway Barks. Especially at a NYC venue.
HOWEVER If you decide not to go, please keep me in mind for that ticket.

From: Arizona | posted: 9/20/2005 at 4:55:54 PM ET Christine, if I decide to sell my ticket, you'll be first to know about it.
I want to work as a volunteer at Barks again and my parents want to go next summer and make a little vacation out of it.
I really want to do both and if I'm smart and save up I probably can. Hotel rates for late april/may are pretty decent right now. I have to stay at least 2 nights since its such a long trip, even flying its really, really long. Last time it was 11 hours from the time I left my house in phoenix til I got to my hotel in ny. Longer if you count the time difference. Anyway, its worth it and I really want to see her in concert.
Do the seats get closer to center or further to the side as the numbers get bigger? I saw some that were 114 and such then I ended up with D18. How close is that to the center?

From: NYC | posted: 9/20/2005 at 5:06:04 PM ET BleuTwinks - there's a downloadable seating chart on Lincolncenter.org. The 100s are center and the lower digits are side. As long as you are in the orchestra or even in the rear tiers, you're okay.
Christine - Just re-read your post - I hope your mom is okay.

From: NYC | posted: 9/20/2005 at 5:24:59 PM ET It will definitely be a sell out - but I suspect that they will hold some of the tickets back until next April. Some seats will be going to Lincoln Center subscribers too.

Sister Rose- when you said you'll be ok as long as you're in the center orchestra, does that not include side orchestra seats? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb or confused question, I've never been to AFH
