"Get the hook" is an old term from vaudeville days when incompetent amateur acts, who had long outworn their welcome, were literally dragged offstage by a long hook, to accompanying boos and catcalls. Quite apt usage in this case.

Yes I will sing a song, and it goes a little something like this...ahem...*go away please, you div. you are so unwanted, you would love to cause fights, i bet you planned this all Wednesday night, couldn't wait to go post this and enlighten our lives, well while your stupering thrives.." should be sung to the tune of take that look off your face. can anyone think of a good rhyming last line? and by the way "div" is an english term for idiot as I'm sure you may have guessed. Tata!
