Well you aspiring actors out there (who are on the younger side), here is your chance to audition for Gypsy. Info is below:

Job Description
Casting for children for the Broadway revival of Gypsy starring Bernadette Peters as Mama Rose. Robert Fox, Prod'r; Sam Mendes, dir.; Jerry Mitchell, choreo.; Patrick Vaccariello, mus'l dir. First rehearsal Jan. 20; first performance March 24; opens April 24.
Auditions will be held on Sat. Sept. 21 for girls and Sun. Sept. 22 for boys at 10AM at The Ford Center for the Performing Arts, 214 W. 43St. (report to the stage door), NYC.
If cast, non-union performers will have the opportunity to join Equity. Prepare 16 bars of traditional musical theatre that best shows off your range. Bring sheet music. Bring pix and resume. Pianist will be provided.

I would LOVE to audition to work with Bernadette.
But how's a chimp to afford the Greyhound from Montana - certainly not on the peanuts I'm paid !

omg i would love to go to that! unfortunatly, i am not that good at singing and stuff (but i think i am gettin a vocal coach...yeah!) but my best friend should go. shes amazing and loves bernadette too (well not as much as me, but that does factor in to if u wanna go or not, dont you think?)

hahaha of course I WANNA go, but I dont think my mum will let me...i remember someone showed me auditions for AGYG and my mum said that she didn't want me to get involved in things "on that level" yet...but I still wanna goooooo!!!

O wow.....that would be a dream come true for me! 2 problems, the audition is on my birthday (the 21st) AND I am definately NOT Broadway material....for now I am sticking to school shows and such....I got Sister Hubert in "Nunsense" just today...gonna be a fuuuun show! Sorry bout that...Good luck to anyone who DOES try out though!!!!!!!!
I chose and my world was shaken, so what? The choice may have been mistaken...the choosing was not, you have to move on......
