Also, there was once a whole thread about it in the off-topic folder. A lot of people here are either vegetarian or follow some modified form of it.

Today I saw a whole pig on the grill and became a vegetarian for a day. Quite a sight, let me tell you!

I do sometimes eat chicken, when it's all there is to eat. I prefer not to, but I admit to enjoying the flavor, sometimes. I don't eat fish because I don't like the smell. And I don't eat meat/beef/pork because I cannot handle the uneasiness of feeling after eating it. i feel too full or sick and stuff... just not healthy, so i don't.

From: London | posted: 9/12/2004 at 4:57:56 AM ET I don't really eat red meat that often because I'm not too keen on it. maybe in a Mcdonalds burger and i have a weak spot for sausages but I'm really a chicken and turkey gal! hehe. just while we are randomly talking about what people eat - just wondering if anyone eats English dishes like shepherds pie, casserole, full english fry-up...etc

What's a full English fry-up? Is it a sausage and egg breakfast? I'm getting hungry here.
I once read a book entitled "Spotted Dick, S'il Vous Plait" by a man who ran an English pub in France.

From: London | posted: 9/12/2004 at 12:40:07 PM ET ahem..it consists of...toast, fried or scrambled egg, bacon, sausages, perhaps liver, baked beans and lots of tea! Yum.
Spotted dick is a suet pudding with sultanas, raisons or currents in. Delicious name, isn't it?

My mistake I'm such a ditz. 2-There are 2 posts in one of the topics I forget which one but they have my username on it and it wasn't me who posted. My cousin Lizzie was over my house like 2 days ago and she posted using my name.
