Hi Guys!

Not sure if you are aware of this, but Bernadette is featured in this book called "Marian Christy's Conversations : Famous Women Speak Out." If you go to amazon.com and search for it, there is an option to search within the book. Search for Bernadette and you can read her whole portion. It is about 4 pages, I think. Pretty insightful, the interview was done when she was with Steve Martin.

Enjoy!
Grace Anne

I must be doing something wrong because I can't read Bernadette's entry. Help!!!

Try this link:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/1571290613/ref=sib_vae_pg_68/102-4491085-7088144?%5Fencoding=UTF8&keywords=bernadette%20peters&p=S02G&twc=3&checkSum=%2FkklvUh2GYRPFQ%2BU7GP4LYpxO875BuH16qAbJINeNkk%3D#reader-link

Once you've read through page 70, you will have to go back to the "see all 3 references to BP..." which is right above the page. Then, click on the "on page 71" link and that should finish off her portion of the book.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for this, GraceAnne, and thanks Mandy for the link (naturally I did it on my own and very tedious it was.)

So, the lady herself says she's shy--at least back then. I am amazed that she talked so freely, but also vastly amused at the setting--Steve Martin in make-up and Bernadette in a pink silk robe. Ahh...

(The interview, by the way, was originally published in the Boston Globe on Dec. 20, 1981)

Thanks Grace Anne! Sorry to be so late, but I just read the interview now. Very interesting. Very outspoken. So glad you mentioned it.
