I watched most of Pink Cadillac last night for the first time...I couldn't take the whole thing. I was warned but oh my, it's so bad. The only thing good about it is Bernadette. I love Clint Eastwood too and he wasn't even good in this one. Anyway, did anybody else notice that the Elvis impersonator in the Reno casino is Jim Carrey? I thought that was funny. So do you think they advertised for the worst B movie actors they could find?

What mystifies me in that movie is the basic situation. Why on earth would Bernadette's character ever have married that hideous man in the first place, much less stay with him for years and have a child by him. I know the woman is presented as blue collar, working-class, etc. but certainly not stupid. She's actually intelligent and obviously beautiful, so what was that deal all about? Why I'm bothering to complain about the plausibility of a mechanical piece of fluff, don't ask. LOL!
