Ok, I'm just gonna throw this out there...Has anyone read this book "Almost Like Being in Love:A Novel" by Steve Kluger? I was randomly doing a search on Amazon and Bernadette's name was included in this book. Here is the quote from Amazon:
"... on Broadway with some of the Great White Way's most glamorous leading ladies: Julie Andrews, Eydie Gormé, Barbra Streisand, and Bernadette Peters (who bore him his only child)."
It is a book of fiction (obviously) but I was just curious if anyone has read it.

I just requested the book at the library. It sounds like it might be fun. One of the characters is obsessed with Broadway--I assume the quote is one of his childhood fantasies. Anyway, thanks for mentioning it.
