Thanks, Mr. Big, I agree. Skibabi (Amanda) clearly labelled her post as O/T, so anyone not interested in that sort of thing had fair warning. Personally, I love the off-topic stuff--sometimes almost as much as the Bernadette postings (well, maybe not quite).

hey everyone! I'm back Thank so much for those who supported me - and yes i did post it as Off Topic and the board is called General chit chat. So that is all i'm gonna say about that.

Cuteoperaboi - you think i resemble BP? That's the biggest most wonderful compliment i could ever receive! WOW! It could be the Italian heritage. and yes i have naturally curly hair. THat picture was from a performance of A Midsummer Nights Dream for the Dallas Shakespearean Guild. I was Titania Again, thank you soooooo much for the compliment - that means sooooooooo much!

Well for all who are interested, my trip to LA was wonderful! I talked with some casting directors and personal managers and agents and made a lot of new friends - one boy imparticular who might have just stolen my heartI also helped work on the set of Lifetime's show "Strong Medicine" I'm going back in 2 weeks and then at the end of July. I can't wait!

Well I'm glad to back everyone! You'll be hearing from me again;-)

BYE!

Sadly SKIBABI1, it is called general chit chat with the understood meaning about bernadette.....no where does it say, to catch up on old times, or let people know where you're going on vactions....its about bernadette...

Jarred, I understand what you're saying, but the thing is, when you're a daily habituee of a website, it sort of becomes this sub-universe which you inhabit. Sometimes I just feel like sharing a thought, or being silly, or whatever. I LIKE the people here a lot, in many cases better than the people in my real life. So if any Bernadette fans here want to air their views on the global warming problem, or third-world debt relief, or the best translation of Eugene Onegin, I'm more than interested to hear them. Sad, possibly, but true. Actually, I don't think it's sad at all--I think it's great! That's why I love the internet.

Ewww I was riding over the Verrezanno Bridge one day last week in the morning and I looked over towards Manhattan and could see an orange line of polution, almost like a colorful horizon. It was so disgusting and really gave me a perspective on the polution problem in NYC. lol That's sort of up there with Global Warming.

LOL! Thanks Christine, you "got" what I meant exactly. And as a non-New Yorker, it brought back memories of the handful of times that I have crossed the Verrazano Bridge.

Hey, I'm old enough to vividly remember Hurricane Camille, which almost, but not quite, came close to destroying New Orleans. Natural disasters are unavoidable, but the real estate industry needs to be controlled as to where they're allowed to develop.

Jarred, listen - i marked it Off Topic for a reason. If you don't want to hear about something other than Bernadette, then don't read OT things. I was just letting everyone know that I wouldn't be on the board for a week at least. So chill. So how bout that weather? HAHA!

some people can go on about the weather.....others stick up for what they believe too...I know that you put it as OT, but that doesnt make ANY difference or justification....and thats ridiculous to try to pass it off as justified.....Sticking and OT on it does nothing but burn calories by having your fingers type two letters....

can't this topic of ot stuff be dropped, skibabi, i'm glad you had a wonderful trip, good luck with the next trip.
does it really matter if every topic revolves around one person? i think not there is much to much to worry about in the world. take the effort of silly ot stuff and have a moment of silence to wish our troups a safe return home and hope that the broadway barks turn out will be great and so on...who really care about topics?

Karen-
Check your PM. I'm not posting anymore on the board for now. I had a response but I don't care to participate anymore.

Some people can get so mad, reading things that aren't so bad, thats ok for some people, who dont know how to live. Some people think it's a crime, for people taking up useful time, thats perfect for some people of 105, but why can you just believe, that its not so bad to just write down your plans, or thoughts or vacations, moods, or songs, with justification, Jared why cant you just believe, that she marked it with an O/T ! I had a dream, a dream bout this post,it's bout Bernadette the most...so it's not the end of the world if there's an occasional hey, hello, how are ya?.. sorry I know I murdered that song, but it's a little thing Id like to call boredom!

I'm fed up with this pettiness - Jarred you've blown this WAY out of proportion. I'm voting it down.
