If you could have one prop or costume from Gypsy what would it be? I'd love Rose's purse, Pop's plaque or Gypsy's boa.

hmmmm Tulsa's "...Now Is The Girl" pants, Electras costume, Definatly GYPSY's boa, The telephone on ms. cratchits desk, June's hair ribbon, THE COW UTTERS, one of the chinese lanters, the spoon from "can i have a spoon to stir my tea?", Mazeppa's horn, and CHOWSIE lol.......(sorry, i couldnt pick just one)

yo Chip, is that prop from the show? If so cool! I was lucky enough to get some GYPSY signs from the merchadise counter. But I'd really love the light post from "Rose's Turn"!!!!

I'd love the light up sign that says "rose" ...how did you make one? that is too cool! I have a long big Boa like Gypsy's;-) I'm a dancer.

I would like to have the SOME PEOPLE Railroad Comapany Plaque, the wicker basket she sat on during SMALL WORLD, Tulsa's Broom/Dance Partner, something dealing with Chinese food, Tessie's G-String (Necklace haha), a ROSE sign, and all kinds of other things!!!!

I took a HUGE peice of flat cardboard and painted it black and then went and got blue,pink,yellow, and white string lights from K-Mart, then i took a flathead screwdriver and punched holes in the cardboard in the shapes of ROSE, then i just placed the lights within the holes and now i have one of my walls that says ROSE on it 7 times (each in a different style of lettering), i'll get a picture of it soon and post it somewhere on here

call me shallow but it is in my blood...i'd love to have any of the jewelry worn in the show especially the silver and amethyst necklace. i probably should have just gotten it when it was on ebay, but knowing i can have something made at a fraction of the bid price...but on the plus side i have one of the bracelets used in gypsy last summer and it is one of my fav items.

seeing as how i've been a jeweler for 4 years...just about anytime i see the word jewelry i'm instantly drawn to whatever it is. and frankly considering that jewelry is my life...to me i'm shallow

awww sweety, that's not what shallow means at all. 
According to the dictionary, Shallow means not intellectually deep; not profound; not penetrating deeply; simple; not wise or knowing; ignorant; superficial; as, a shallow mind; shallow learning.
Just because you love jewelery, does not mean you ONLY care about that. I'm sure you have other interests about which you are intelligent and charismatic.

Exactly...If you were shallow - then I would be too. I LOVE jewelry - all kinds! I worked in a jewelry boutique for two years. And I just got a whole new set of jewelry from Tiffany's. Necklace, bracelt, and ring - they are gorgeous! So, no you are not shallow at all. You just have a passion for beautiful jewelry.

why thank you...maybe to me it just seems that way because all i do is work work work and can yo blame me? diamonds everyday...and that and a cool new gemstone i just heard of, who knew that there is a stone that is a purplish pink? and yes i have other interests...theatre and jewelry
