I'd have to go with Sondheim, Etc. followed by I'll Be Your Baby Tonight. The Sondheim CD has the most of my favorites on it.

I'm gonna go with "The Goodbye Girl" soundtrack. I don't necessarliy think it's her best work (vocally), but you can tell she's having so much fun (especially with Martin Short). Every time I listen to it, I can picture the characters and settings.

Ok, this is very hard to choose from but I'd have to say that I *love* her new CD, Bernadette Peters Loves Rogers and Hammerstein!! Her voice is so pure on it and the fact that it was recorded live adds to the authenticity of it. I also loved hearing her use that lower part of her register again as well as the higher notes like in IF I LOVED YOU. It was also nice hearing her sing some stuff we've never heard her sing before.

My favorite is Sondheim. I just LOVE every song on that c.d. Every time I listen to it, I can picture her on a stage singing them :-) I love it!!!

Well I love them all but there's something that's so warm about her voice on the Mack and Mabel cd.
