Gypsy 1527 and I have e-mailed each other a few times to set-up a process for a group of us to jointly bid on the "Backstage with Bernadette Peters" E-Bay item for Broadway Barks. This is what we have come up with thus far:
1. Anyone wishing to join the group by making a contribution should PM me NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM on TUESDAY, APRIL 27th. For anyone contributing but not planning to be there (in NYC) please note that at this time.
2. If you choose to join the group please indicate the maximum amount you are willing to contribute when you PM me NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM ON TUESDAY, APRIL 27TH. We need the deadline to get an idea where we're at in terms of how much money we have.
3. As Gypsy 1527 noted on the message board, she checked with Patty who said that (if we are the winners) everyone who contributed will get to go backstage after the show. However, only two tickets will be available no matter the number of us. That means if you are not a lucky holder of one of the two tickets that night you will need to purchase your own with your money.
4. When you PM me NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM ON TUESDAY, APRIL 27th please give your days of availability --- from best to worse --- to attend the show. If successful, we get to choose from the Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday evening performances and the Wednesday matinee. To make things much less complicated for Patty we should all be there at the same performance rather than different days.
5. If we pull this off we will need to divide the "goodies" (two tickets, the poster & the pin) among all who contributed. You might want to indicate in your message to me what is of the most interest. If we have more than one person interest in an item I guess we will have to figure a way to fairly divide, so pass on to me any ideas of how to do you think that could be done.
That's all I can think of for now. Let me know if I missed anything.

I do have an open suggestion if there are more people interested in an item than the 2 (tickets) or 1 each (poster and pin): pick the "winners" out of a hat.

Or just give the prizes to the people who contributed more money!, I think meeting Bernadette would be the biggest prize of them all!... When ar you guys doin this?, im going to the show on the 22nd

Third,it definitely won't be 5/22 since, as the explanatory e-mail says, the winning tickets will be good only Tuesday thru Thursday evenings & Wednesday matinee.
