It's longer which weighs the curls down and controls frizzy-ness, better hair care products have been invented and she can probably afford a better hair stylist. :-)

It also looks like she used to brush it and now she doesn't. Probably used a pick or fine tooth comb. I'm sure that added a great deal to the frizzyness.

Bernadette actually does her own hair for the most part. I'm sure there are people who touch it up for television and concert apearences, but other than that she knows what looks good on her. She's older now, and she's takin more control over decisions that concern her.

Well yes, obviously I was talking about her public appearances. I hope she doesn't have a hair stylist living with her. :-) Regardless of what decisions she is making in her life.

Sorry that posted before I wanted it to. Obviously she has a hairstylist for her public appearances and what I was saying is along with everything else, she can probably afford a better hairstylist than she could 20 years ago.

Either way, of course her hair style is going to change with the times (she's not one of those famous people that gets stuck in a time rut b/c they're doing good and want it to stay that way). Big fluffy/teased hair was popular in the 80's LOL though I still don't know why!
