What sort of restaurant is Angus McIndoe,- and where is it?
Every time I hear someone was at Gypsy and how incredible it was,I realize how much I am missing the show,and the whole NY experience! Sigh...

It's on 44th Street, next to the St. James Theater ("The Producers"), closer to 8th Ave. Broderick, Lane, Brooks are investors. On my one time there I saw Michael Hall and his wife Amy Spangler. The food was better than the usual theater district tourist stuff, and the restaurant a lot more quiet than the usual.
Menu at the link. Note there are a lot of salads, fish and even a few vegetarian items--the friend I usually eat with is a vegetarian when she can be, so this is good for her.

I eat there (or sometimes just go in for drinks with friends) all the time. The employees are so nice, and the food is very good and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend trying it.
