| posted: 12/10/2003 at 9:00:35 PM ET Well it just goes to show you that I'm not a beer drinker. I thought beer bottles had more ounces than beer cans. Kind of like soft drink bottles. Well, I guess you live and learn everyday.
Not to beat the off-topic to death but I never thought that someone who works nights (which is I believe what she said) is necessarily not around a lot. I mean they were probably sleeping when he was working and at school when he was sleeping. But it kind of sounds like the type of dad who might have been able to make it to after-school programs and such unlike a lot of other dad's - particularly dad's in the time when Bernadette was a child.
Just my thoughts, not arguing with anyone or anything.

I obviously have been reading different things than you guys! I really respect her and I don't mean to insult in any way.
I guess this is what happens when anyone speculates about something they can never really truly know about.
My apologies again.
You either got it, or you aint!

She eats seafood of all varieties quite a bit.

From: tonawanda,n.y. | posted: 12/12/2003 at 10:37:43 PM ET I never heard that Bernadette doesn't eat meat- red or otherwise. I understand she eats very little carbs like bread..so I guess that kind of shoots the "sandwich" idea! I hope she doesn't eat too few carbs,as this is a dangerous thing, especially for the kidneys. The South Beach diet sounds more healthy, as it advocates eating "good carbs".But I should advise?!I eat healthy in some areas, and VERY bad in others, so I'm probably really off balance!!And I'd LOVE a sandwich named after me!
To the loveliest lady of song!
You will keep on giving me joy forever...

| posted: 12/13/2003 at 4:11:30 PM ET Well, I did already mention it on one of the previous pages of this thread, but I'll restate it:
When Bernadette was co-hosting with Regis one day she was talking about what she eats when she's on tour. And she mentioned this one time when she was in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she had ordered room service in the hotel where she was staying. She had ordered chicken parmigiana (which for any normal person is breaded chicken cutlet with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, some parmigiana cheese, and maybe some oregano, parsley, and basil). Anyway, they sent up a breaded piece of chicken with some melted American Cheese on it. She said it was so disgusting; or something to that effect. I mean, I've acutally eaten chicken like that (with just American Cheese on it), and it's not bad...but it's not what she ordered. That is not Chicken Parmigiana. It was just kinda funny the way she was talking about it. lol
